Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, architect, build, and support scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Engineer cloud-native solutions using Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
- Develop SQL queries and data pipelines and tune database performance for high-availability systems.
- Implement Jenkins CI/CD automation and Terraform infrastructure-as-code.
- Create JUnit unit-test coverage and drive code-quality improvements.
- Lead peer code reviews, provide actionable feedback, and support engineering standards adoption.
- Provide production support, incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and accurate work tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or four additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of the degree.
- 13+ years of experience delivering microservices architecture.
- Expert-level Java and Spring Boot proficiency.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
- Strong SQL and database performance-tuning skills.
- Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Terraform infrastructure-as-code, JUnit, peer code reviews, and production support.
- Experience with VersionOne or similar agile project tools.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust, complete onsite fingerprinting, and satisfy the stated U.S. residency requirements.
- Preferred: Docker, Kubernetes, microservices design patterns, advanced distributed-systems concepts, high-traffic large-scale platforms, and open-source contributions.
