Base Salary

$127k - $217k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, maintain, and document non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle.
  • Translate customer requirements into initial software product designs.
  • Lead junior engineers in software development.
  • Develop interface definitions and perform unit and integration testing.
  • Participate in peer reviews and support software system integration and test.
  • Work with various software programming languages in a collaborative, multi-program environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Active Top Secret U.S. security clearance and U.S. citizenship, as required by the U.S. Government.
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
  • At least 5 years of C++ experience.
  • At least 1 year of MATLAB experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Agile software development lifecycle.
  • Preferred qualifications include a relevant bachelor’s degree with 5–9+ years of related experience, or equivalent directly related experience; familiarity with physics-based modeling, DevSecOps, Git, GitLab, CMake, Linux, Windows, MATLAB Coder, Java, and real-time software; and knowledge of flight dynamics, sensors, electromagnetics, weapon models, terrain models, or flight control.
