Base Salary
$127k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software across the full lifecycle.
- Translate customer needs and requirements into software designs and implementation plans.
- Develop and maintain software architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and detailed designs.
- Develop, integrate, and optimize software products and system integrations, including supplier-supplied components.
- Debug complex issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for product reliability and performance.
- Respond to user inquiries, troubleshoot technical problems, and incorporate feedback into software improvements.
- Research and evaluate technologies, tools, and frameworks and implement relevant solutions.
- Establish, monitor, and improve software processes, tools, and key performance metrics.
- Plan, execute, and document software research and development initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience with object-oriented design and programming in a high-level language such as C#, .NET, Java, SQL, HTML, or CSS.
- At least 5 years of software development experience on Windows or Linux.
- At least 5 years of experience developing software for containerized architectures using Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
- At least 5 years of experience with Git.
- At least 5 years of experience developing software products in a cloud environment.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government for this clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of cybersecurity experience, software architecture expertise, requirements traceability, database design and performance experience, development and test toolchain expertise, and experience with aircraft, missile, airborne, shipboard, space, or ground systems.
- Level 3 preferred qualifications include a relevant Bachelor of Science degree with 5+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of directly related experience, or 13+ years of related experience.
- Completion of the required CodeVue technical assessment is necessary for consideration.
