Responsibilities
- Develop clean, efficient, maintainable Java code for functional software applications.
- Build scalable, fault-tolerant, low-latency, and high-availability applications and microservices.
- Integrate front-end components with server-side logic and external systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve portal bugs and application issues.
- Design and maintain database schemas, queries, and data storage integrations.
- Implement security, data protection, authentication, and secure coding practices.
- Participate in or conduct code reviews and uphold coding standards.
- Write automated unit and integration tests and optimize applications for performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in coding, debugging, and feature development with modern programming languages and frameworks.
- BE, B.Tech, MCA, or M.Tech qualification.
- Proficiency in Java 8 or newer and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, microservices, and cloud-native application development.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and web services using JSON.
- Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Elasticsearch, including schema and query design.
- Experience with Redis or Memcached, Kafka or RabbitMQ, JUnit, Mockito, or TestNG.
- Strong experience with Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and merge conflict resolution.
- Familiarity with ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk for monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and SSL/TLS for security and authentication.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- AI/ML or blockchain experience is an added advantage.
- Oracle Certified Professional Java SE or Spring Professional certification is preferred but not mandatory.
