Base Salary
$197k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with software engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-performing mobile features for over 100 million customers.
- Provide technical leadership for mobile architecture, design patterns, API reviews, reusable components, performance, and accessibility.
- Mentor engineers through feedback, code reviews, platform best practices, and removal of technical obstacles.
- Design and develop client Backend-for-Frontends and Server-Driven UI architectures for scalable mobile experiences.
- Define engineering practices for feature flags, staged rollouts, coding, testing, quality, and user experience.
- Champion agentic AI tools and AI-native development practices while making hands-on technical contributions to the modern mobile ecosystem.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience building native mobile applications for Android with Kotlin or iOS with Swift.
- Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of native mobile experience, modern native UI frameworks, automated mobile testing, performance optimization, scalable and modular architectures, reusable component libraries, BFF and SDUI development, feature flags and staged rollouts, agentic AI coding tools, and on-device ML frameworks.
