Responsibilities
- Develop models for ad selection, bid optimization, user response prediction, and auction closing price estimation.
- Research, design, build, deploy, and operate end-to-end machine learning solutions at web scale.
- Address real-time bidding challenges including sparse positive samples and labeling delay.
- Analyze data and evaluate model improvements and A/B test statistical significance.
- Contribute ideas and influence product roadmap decisions.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a proactive, autonomous, results-oriented approach with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Have a strong foundation in regression, distribution properties, statistical significance testing, and related statistical concepts.
- Have experience with machine learning and predictive modeling, including neural networks, logistic regression, gradient-boosted trees, and time series analysis.
- Have good programming skills in Python and familiarity with PyTorch, pandas, and NumPy.
- Have competence in data analysis with SQL and pandas and familiarity with Git.
- Have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in Machine Learning, AI, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science; experience building high-performance production algorithms; Apache Spark and Java or Scala experience; familiarity with transformer architectures and LLMs; digital marketing or user acquisition experience; and AWS experience with SageMaker, EMR, EC2, Athena, and S3.
