Base Salary
$286k - $327k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize technical vision for resilience engineering and related domains.
- Lead architectural strategy and cross-functional teams during critical technology outages.
- Perform systemic root cause analysis and resolve underlying architectural weaknesses.
- Define and champion enterprise standards for observability, disaster recovery, and chaos engineering.
- Serve as an expert on performance, scalability, operability, and other non-functional system characteristics.
- Ensure technical design and implementation quality while balancing multiple projects.
- Mentor engineers and product professionals and strengthen the broader technical community.
- Create communications, code samples, blog posts, and other materials to share technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 9 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture required.
- At least 9 years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns required.
- At least 9 years of experience in cloud computing using AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud required.
- Preferred: bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture and cloud computing.
- Preferred: 10+ years of professional coding experience in languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Swift.
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
