Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and debug software applications.
- Deliver Python and Golang code to production and build products and services for Developer Services.
- Develop distributed systems, event-driven architectures, container-based microservices, distributed logs, and NoSQL database solutions.
- Ensure software platforms comply with Citi’s security and Software Development Life Cycle processes.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to implement everything-as-code and codified controls.
- Apply Generative AI and prompt engineering, including developer assistants, in software development systems.
- Write maintainable, well-documented code and support continuous improvement and cultural change.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience delivering Python or Golang code to production.
- Experience working in an agile software development environment.
- Proven experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, container-based microservices, distributed logs, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Hands-on Generative AI experience with developer assistants.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, troubleshooting, risk-management, creative problem-solving, and willingness to learn and adapt.
