Responsibilities

  • Gather and produce requirements and designs.
  • Write production-quality and test code for required products.
  • Support legacy code.
  • Plan software development activities accurately and follow established processes.
  • Communicate with management and team members and contribute to technical discussions.
  • Deliver software products on schedule and maintain commitments and deadlines.
  • Share knowledge and evaluate differing technical opinions fairly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent, in computer science or a related discipline.
  • Over five years of C++ development, design, or equivalent combined education, skills, and experience.
  • Experience with STL, Boost, and similar libraries.
  • Working knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Good understanding of multithreaded programming and networking.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Practical knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Demonstrated record of delivering high-quality software products to market.
  • Knowledge of memory dump analysis is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of exchanges and electronic trading is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and learning skills.
  • Good knowledge of English.
