Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on software development throughout the full software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and enhance applications supporting Equity Structured Products Trading.
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, loosely coupled distributed systems.
- Investigate production and non-production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and improve system stability, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with traders, business users, business analysts, and globally distributed engineering teams.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, architecture decisions, and software quality initiatives.
- Support deployment, production operations, and continuous improvement of the platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with Java and other JVM-based technologies.
- Experience with Scala or strong aptitude and desire to learn and work with Scala.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, distributed systems, and modern software engineering principles.
- Experience designing and developing scalable systems composed of loosely coupled and interoperable components.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for resolving complex technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and production support activities.
- Interest in financial markets and technology supporting trading businesses.
