Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to execute complex technical projects.
- Provide meaningful feedback on code reviews and technical designs.
- Operate and improve systems so they remain reliable and scalable.
- Develop durable solutions through code, tooling, data, and process improvements to reduce recurring operational workloads.
- Build toward owning projects and eventually entire technical domains from beginning to end.
- Communicate work status clearly and use AI tools while rigorously reviewing and validating their outputs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a directly related field by summer 2027, or equivalent work experience with no more than 18 months of professional experience excluding internships.
- Programming experience through side projects or classwork, with familiarity in languages such as Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, or Go.
- Previous internship experience or collaborative experience on multi-person coding projects.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar systems through independent research, mentoring, and subject-matter expertise.
- Clear written communication skills for explaining work to stakeholders and teammates.
- Ability to use AI tools to accelerate development while applying critical thinking and professional judgment.
- Preferred: specialized knowledge in frontend, backend, infrastructure, or another technical area.
- Preferred: experience with code review, safely updating production systems, navigating large codebases, independently leading small projects, and contributing to larger projects.
