Base Salary
$118k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Act as an escalation point for complex system issues and investigate anomalies through root-cause analysis.
- Develop and deploy fixes for production bugs and implement system enhancements.
- Maintain understanding of system interactions with upstream and downstream dependencies.
- Support and troubleshoot integrations involving REST APIs, microservices, and third-party SaaS platforms.
- Participate in peer code reviews and ensure solutions are secure, efficient, and aligned with team standards.
- Monitor platform performance and scalability and support reliable deployments.
- Contribute to cross-functional troubleshooting and other technical tasks supporting the long-term health of the applications ecosystem.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud-based technologies including AWS EC2, CloudFront, Lambda, SQS, and S3.
- Proficiency in backend development using Java, Python, or Node.js and knowledge of database management and server-side architecture.
- Experience analyzing and implementing bug fixes for reported incidents.
- Understanding of application development practices including unit testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, collaboration, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Preferred experience with GraphQL and building subgraphs in a federated graph architecture such as Apollo Federation.
- Preferred experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
- Prior media management or digital media distribution operations experience is preferred.
