Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Act as the lead engineering voice between legacy automotive hardware and modern software infrastructure.
- Design and deploy software gateways for integrating OEM battery packs into the energy storage system.
- Develop containerized applications for BMS communication and fault management.
- Build resilient communication interfaces to handle various OEM pack idiosyncrasies.
- Collaborate with power electronics and controls teams for optimized module operation.
- Drive validation across simulation tools and physical hardware to verify OEM BMS behavior.
Requirements
- Proven experience in controls and software engineering with lithium-ion battery architectures.
- Experience as a primary software point of contact with external suppliers or automotive OEMs.
- Proficiency in modern software engineering languages such as Rust, Python, and C/C++.
- Expertise in automotive communication networks like CAN and Automotive Ethernet.
- Strong problem-solving skills for reverse-engineering complex OEM software systems.
