Responsibilities
- Develop innovative features and user-centric workflows for Lightspeed’s iOS application.
- Design and implement efficient mobile applications for iOS devices using SwiftUI.
- Balance new feature development with maintenance of existing integrations and expansion into new markets.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Team Leads, and cross-functional teams on POS integration and performance.
- Participate in grooming sessions and other Agile ceremonies.
- Maintain high standards for code quality, system reliability, and codebase ownership.
- Share iOS development practices and contribute to continuous team and application improvement.
Requirements
- Advanced programming skills in SwiftUI.
- Knowledge of Structured Concurrency, Blockchain, UIKit, Swift, SQLite, Core Data, and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
- Experience writing automated unit and functional tests.
- Conceptual understanding of software design and code quality.
- Experience with local network communication and external hardware accessories such as payment terminals and printers is a plus.
- Experience using AI tools and implementing agentic workflows.
- The role is based in Canada.
