Responsibilities
- Develop and expand RBC’s mobile banking application with Swift.
- Apply appropriate design and architectural patterns to support application scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code delivery.
- Collaborate with project managers, product owners, testers, UX, security, and fraud teams.
- Write testable code, use iOS unit testing frameworks, and continuously refactor and simplify the application.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of iOS development experience using Swift.
- Experience with UI development in SwiftUI and UIKit.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC, MVVM, and iOS application architecture.
- Experience with iOS unit testing frameworks, complex networking requirements, Xcode, and Git.
- Understanding of IT standards, UX design, accessibility, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication and collaborative interpersonal skills.
- Objective-C experience, banking experience, and mobile payments experience are nice-to-have qualifications.
