Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain platform components supporting the end-to-end ML model lifecycle.
  • Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including Databricks, EMR, ECS, and S3, for model training and serving workloads.
  • Automate model deployment, testing, and release processes within the SDLC and MLOps toolchain.
  • Support the Platform team in developing and building automated solutions.
  • Monitor platform health and model-serving infrastructure and resolve performance and stability issues.
  • Lead effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools, including establishing practices for validating generated outputs.
  • Contribute to technical design decisions, secure coding practices, resiliency, and an inclusive culture.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, particularly Python or Java.
  • Experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, code review, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Advanced understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, security, and agile practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
  • Preferred experience with agentic AI, MCP development, cloud-native systems, and data engineering.
