Responsibilities
- Interpret requirements and write quality control and user acceptance test plans.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.
- Design, implement, and conduct testing and evaluation procedures to verify system requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and test architectures.
- Write, implement, and report the status of system test cases.
- Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports.
- Provide testing subject-matter expertise for user requirements involving complex software and hardware applications.
- Participate in risk management assessments and software or hardware development, focusing on requirements analysis, test design, and test-tool selection.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of current relevant experience.
- Experience testing Java applications with Selenium, Cucumber, and FitNesse.
- Strong performance-testing background using JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experience with automated testing, Section 508 accessibility testing, functional testing, integration testing, full regression testing, and cybersecurity testing.
- Basic understanding of Java coding.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as software engineering, engineering, or computer science.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred qualifications include Appian application testing, Microsoft Office proficiency, and good communication skills.
