Base Salary
$106k - $146k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assess specifications and requirements for consistency and accuracy.
- Create and maintain test suites covering component logic paths, calculations, and design specifications.
- Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, identify abnormalities, and report defects.
- Design, develop, and maintain tools for generating, running, comparing, and analyzing tests.
- Deliver accurate test suites to clients on schedule.
- Investigate and address client concerns, provide tests, and collaborate directly with clients.
- Participate in Agile team planning, dependency analysis, task breakdown, estimation, and test-approach definition.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and six years of software development experience, or a high school diploma/GED and ten years of software development experience.
- Three years of experience creating software quality and/or data-processing tests.
- Experience testing applications implemented with Java, SQL, and JSON.
- Experience working with an Agile team using the Scrum framework.
- Preferred experience with large healthcare, insurance, or financial datasets.
- Preferred three-plus years testing non-UI applications or Java libraries using JSON and CSV datasets.
- Preferred two years of healthcare data and HIPAA experience.
- Proficiency with automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest is preferred.
- Experience writing test scripts with Java, Python, and SQL is preferred.
- Ability to create test-preparation documents and communicate effectively in a team environment.
