Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain business logic for group contract insurance products within the German ABS system.
- Develop and enhance GUI components for managing changes to group contract insurance products.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with business analysts.
- Write clean, maintainable, and documented code and participate in code reviews.
- Perform unit and integration testing using JUnit and Tosca.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for DB2 databases.
- Manage Git version control and branching strategies.
- Set up and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot software defects and deliver fixes promptly.
- Document technical specifications and development processes in Confluence.
- Track development tasks and issues in Jira.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and collaborate in an agile development environment.
Requirements
- Completed studies in business computer science or comparable qualifications and working experience.
- Working experience with development environments, test methods, and software engineering tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Jira.
- Advanced SQL knowledge, including experience with DB2.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted development and basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and practical applications.
- Ability to work independently with strong commitment and communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent German language skills at minimum B2 level and good English language skills at B2 level.
