Responsibilities
- Translate business processes and user needs into technically viable agentic AI solutions with measurable outcomes, acceptance criteria, and operational constraints.
- Contribute to solution architecture covering grounding, retrieval, identity, authorization, reliability, scalability, cost control, observability, and supportability.
- Design and write production-quality code, configurations, prompts, agent instructions, tools, APIs, connectors, MCP services, and automation.
- Create reusable AI components, skills, plugins, evaluation assets, deployment modules, connectors, and reference implementations using governed enterprise data.
- Define and execute unit, component, integration, regression, grounding, adversarial, performance, accessibility, security, and compliance testing.
- Deploy solutions across development, test, and production environments; configure telemetry, dashboards, alerts, auditability, and runbooks.
- Lead diagnosis and remediation of complex production incidents, conduct technical reviews, coach colleagues, and improve engineering standards.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI architecture, orchestration, and multi-step workflow design.
- Experience with Microsoft Foundry Agent Service and SDK-based development.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility, agents, skills, plugins, connectors, MCP, and APIs.
- Production engineering experience with Python and TypeScript/.NET for services and integrations.
- Knowledge of API, event, workflow, and integration architecture, including Azure API Management, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.
- Experience with enterprise grounding, retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, semantic models, and governed data products.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra identity, OAuth, managed identities, role-based access control, and least-privilege access.
- Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure or configuration automation, and release engineering.
- Experience with AI evaluation, prompt and tool testing, observability, OpenTelemetry, and Application Insights.
- Knowledge of threat modelling, secure development, privacy, Microsoft Purview, and Responsible AI.
- Experience delivering enterprise AI, data, cloud, or automation solutions into production with strong hands-on software engineering evidence.
- Preferred qualifications include ownership of technical delivery across requirements through live operations, experience in regulated or privacy-sensitive environments, a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline or equivalent practical experience, and relevant Microsoft credentials such as AI-103, AB-100, AB-620, AZ-305, PL-400, SC-300, or SC-401.
