Responsibilities

  • Translate business processes and user needs into technically viable agentic AI solutions with defined outcomes, acceptance criteria, and operational constraints.
  • Design, develop, and operationalize secure AI agents, Copilot solutions, tools, APIs, connectors, MCP services, prompts, and automation.
  • Build reusable skills, plugins, tool definitions, prompt templates, evaluation assets, connectors, deployment modules, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Integrate solutions with governed enterprise data, semantic layers, identity controls, APIs, and security mechanisms.
  • Execute unit, component, integration, regression, grounding, adversarial, performance, accessibility, security, and compliance testing.
  • Create evaluation datasets and business-specific quality rubrics for AI solutions.
  • Deploy solutions across development, test, and production environments and configure telemetry, traces, dashboards, alerts, auditability, and runbooks.
  • Support production incident diagnosis and remediation and contribute operational learning to engineering standards.
  • Apply source control, peer review, dependency management, automated builds, CI/CD, and release engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Hands-on knowledge of agentic AI architecture, orchestration, and multi-step workflow design.
  • Experience with Microsoft Foundry Agent Service and SDK-based development.
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform environments, solutions, and ALM.
  • Experience with Claude Code and Codex.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility, including agents, skills, plugins, connectors, MCP, and APIs.
  • Production engineering experience with Python and TypeScript or .NET.
  • Knowledge of API, event, workflow, and integration architecture, including Azure API Management, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps.
  • Experience with enterprise grounding, RAG, vector search, semantic models, and governed data products.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra identity, OAuth, managed identities, RBAC, and least-privilege practices.
  • Experience with GitHub or Azure DevOps, CI/CD or configuration automation, and release engineering.
  • Knowledge of AI evaluation, prompt and tool testing, observability, OpenTelemetry, and Application Insights.
  • Knowledge of threat modeling, secure development, privacy, Microsoft Purview, and Responsible AI.
  • Preferred experience delivering enterprise AI, data, cloud, or automation solutions with hands-on software engineering.
  • Preferred experience across requirements, design, build, testing, go-live, and live operations, including enterprise data, APIs, identity, and security integrations.
  • Experience in a regulated, privacy-sensitive, or similarly controlled environment is desirable.
  • A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
  • Relevant Microsoft AI, Power Platform, Azure, or security credentials are desirable; equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
