Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, document, and deliver components of modern web applications.
- Contribute to application architecture and technology design decisions.
- Develop maintainable, testable solutions that meet acceptance criteria and production-quality standards.
- Help mature existing software and migrate legacy platforms to the cloud in partnership with platform engineering.
- Gather application requirements from business users and provide timely third-line support.
- Follow coding standards, development processes, security practices, and engineering standards.
- Comply with regulatory requirements, operational risk controls, internal policies, and applicable codes of conduct.
Requirements
- Experience with C# .NET, React or Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with NoSQL or relational databases.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, Terraform or an equivalent tool, cloud technology, and modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of BDD/TDD, software architecture and design, SOLID principles, GoF patterns, security, scalability, resiliency, and performance practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business users and technical teams.
- Desirable experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, messaging frameworks, event-driven or streaming architectures, and observability.
- Experience in regulated environments or financial markets and knowledge of commodities trading concepts are desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
