Base Salary

$174k - $252k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Engage in the full service lifecycle from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
  • Provide pre-launch support through system design consulting, software platform and framework development, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
  • Measure and monitor service availability, latency, and overall system health after launch.
  • Scale systems sustainably through automation and drive changes that improve reliability and engineering velocity.
  • Practice sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
  • At least 3 years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading projects and providing technical leadership.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
