Product Engineer

Responsibilities
- Develop and design AI-first products that address software vulnerability challenges
- Build and improve depthfirst’s web application for finding and remediating vulnerabilities at scale
- Own front-end performance and optimize website speed and responsiveness
- Use Next.js, React, and modern web development practices to create robust, scalable, and performant solutions
- Drive product development by understanding users and reimagining how companies approach security
Requirements
- At least three years of professional front-end engineering experience
- Deep understanding of React and JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with Postgres, including Neon
- Proven experience optimizing large-scale web applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Expertise developing reusable UI frameworks, libraries, and tools
- Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand
- Familiarity with modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS
- Strong understanding of HTTP, browser rendering pipelines, and web performance metrics
- Knowledge of Next.js is a bonus
- Attention to detail, a product mindset, and desire to build user-centric products
