Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the design and execution of complex, business-critical projects across the Internationalisation platform.
- Implement new functionality and establish design patterns for multi-component systems.
- Take full lifecycle ownership of features and projects, driving requirement refinement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to influence product requirements.
- Participate in team processes and ensure operational excellence.
- Mentor junior engineers and assist in interviewing new team members.
Requirements
- Strong interest in internationalisation, localisation, and translation.
- 5+ years of experience delivering high-quality, customer-facing software.
- Deep understanding of complex systems and strong systems thinking.
- Familiarity with full stack development concepts.
- Experience with monolithic and microservices architectures.
- Experience with database design for high query volumes.
- Ability to debug performance issues and improve application performance.
- Interest in collaboration across teams and disciplines.
- Understanding of challenges in developing software for non-English speaking users.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
