Responsibilities
- Engage complex enterprise customers to help them achieve unified platform goals.
- Develop and execute customer engagement strategies with Account Executives and Solutions Architects.
- Coach account teams and peers on positioning, adoption strategies, and execution.
- Influence stakeholders through complex engagements involving the cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
- Serve as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture, design, and Databricks Lakehouse adoption.
- Develop customer-facing collateral and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Account Executives, and technology specialists across designated accounts.
Requirements
- Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and technical pre-sales sales lifecycles.
- Technical background in data engineering, data warehousing, or machine learning/AI.
- Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives while orchestrating teams for long-term customer success.
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python or SQL, plus willingness to learn Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with complex proofs of concept and public cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, and Google.
- Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate competitive landscapes.
- Databricks Certification is a preferred qualification.
- Ability to work autonomously with ambiguous requirements and challenging customer environments.
