Responsibilities
- Build automated test suites from scratch covering web, backend APIs, and trading flows.
- Define and own the release testing process in collaboration with the TPM.
- Understand the product deeply to identify critical areas for testing.
- Integrate automated tests into the deployment pipeline to catch issues early.
- Track bugs and maintain visibility into quality metrics using Linear.
- Hire and mentor additional QA engineers as the team grows.
Requirements
- 3+ years in QA engineering or SDET roles, preferably in fast-scaling startups.
- Strong automated testing skills with experience building test infrastructure.
- Experience with trading or fintech products where real money is involved.
- Familiarity with crypto/DeFi and blockchain mechanics is preferred.
- Full-stack testing experience across web applications and backend APIs.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or Python for test automation.
- Experience with CI/CD integration using tools like GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
- Strong communication skills to explain quality tradeoffs to engineers.
