Responsibilities
- Lead a new test automation squad for music production products.
- Select, implement, and maintain the automation framework, toolchain, and coding standards.
- Design and build CI integration with multi-platform agents and test reporting.
- Develop the initial regression suite and establish reusable patterns for product squads.
- Publish and maintain a live automation coverage and results dashboard.
- Plan and track squad work using Jira.
- Govern AI-assisted test generation, including tooling selection, prompting standards, script review, and quality thresholds.
- Set technical direction, review work, and coordinate with software development, product squads, and QA.
Requirements
- Strong experience selecting and designing test automation frameworks and building reliable, maintainable regression suites.
- Proficiency in C++ and task-appropriate scripting languages such as Python.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI pipelines, ideally with Jenkins, including multi-platform build and test agents.
- Ability to lead a small squad, set standards, review work, and plan deliverables.
- Strong debugging, testing, and technical communication skills.
- Fluent spoken English with strong writing skills.
- Interest in music technology, creator tools, hardware/software integration, or audio workflows.
- Practical understanding of AI-assisted test generation and the review discipline required to use it effectively.
- Must qualify for employment in the UK.
