Base Salary
$210k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and embedded software using GitHub and custom automation harnesses.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes for applications and embedded systems.
- Develop and manage firmware and software delivery pipelines to support efficient releases.
- Optimize Docker and Kubernetes environments for embedded applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
- Monitor system performance and reliability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Influx, and Redis.
- Collaborate with embedded software, physics, developer, and hardware teams to integrate software updates involving Talos, Flux, Helm, and Kubernetes services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, software development, or a closely related field.
- At least 7 years of experience as a software developer.
- At least 4 years of experience implementing complex automated systems in Python, Go, or Bash.
- At least 7 years of experience administering on-premises and cloud operating systems, including platforms such as OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI, Talos, Ubuntu, CentOS, or Debian.
- At least 4 years of experience supporting hybrid systems involving embedded devices, custom hardware, or real-time control systems.
- At least 4 years of experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- At least 5 years of experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- At least 7 years of experience with hardware-in-the-loop pipelines or distributed lab and test automation environments.
- At least 7 years of experience with core networking, network load balancing, and network technologies.
- At least 7 years of experience debugging complex multilayered systems, including network troubleshooting, application tracing, alerting, and hardware and software logging.
- All listed years of experience may be gained concurrently.
