Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver cloud-based infrastructure projects.
- Drive the evaluation and rollout of new common microservices.
- Operate, support, and upgrade shared services and frameworks.
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure high programming standards.
- Participate in on-call support and assist with monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with architects, QA, product owners, and operations engineers.
- Mentor new engineering hires and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 12+ years of programming experience in an object-oriented language like Java.
- 7+ years of experience with MySQL or equivalent relational databases.
- Solid experience in architecting and debugging services in a cloud-native environment.
- Knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Tomcat.
- Familiarity with AWS, Redis, Elasticsearch, and Docker.
- Demonstrated experience with ReST and Agile software development.
