Responsibilities
- Develop production-ready software for scalable robot applications based on the Intrinsic Platform.
- Collaborate with product management and platform development on maintainable and stable architecture decisions.
- Implement high-quality software using modern development tooling.
- Test software hands-on with real robotic hardware.
- Support customers where needed and transition feature releases to the Customer Success Team.
- Scope technical solutions, analyze dependencies and needs, and participate throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent practical background in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- Experience implementing user-facing web-based frontends and associated backends for robotics and industrial automation.
- Professional work experience with Python and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, including setting technical direction and guiding development efforts.
- Experience developing and deploying frontend and backend production code for industrial robotics and automation solutions is preferred.
- Understanding of coordinate transforms, quaternions, and pose representations is preferred.
- Familiarity with web-based 3D visualization and sustainable architecture decisions is preferred.
- Experience with Angular, Bazel, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and appropriate testing approaches is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external technical partners.
