Responsibilities

  • Develop production-ready software for scalable robot applications based on the Intrinsic Platform.
  • Collaborate with product management and platform development on maintainable and stable architecture decisions.
  • Implement high-quality software using modern development tooling.
  • Test software hands-on with real robotic hardware.
  • Support customers where needed and transition feature releases to the Customer Success Team.
  • Scope technical solutions, analyze dependencies and needs, and participate throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent practical background in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience implementing user-facing web-based frontends and associated backends for robotics and industrial automation.
  • Professional work experience with Python and TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, including setting technical direction and guiding development efforts.
  • Experience developing and deploying frontend and backend production code for industrial robotics and automation solutions is preferred.
  • Understanding of coordinate transforms, quaternions, and pose representations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with web-based 3D visualization and sustainable architecture decisions is preferred.
  • Experience with Angular, Bazel, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and appropriate testing approaches is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external technical partners.
