Base Salary

$114k - $142k/yr

Responsibilities

Develop the DigitalOcean Managed Kubernetes product.
Create back-end gRPC services written in Go deployed on Kubernetes.
Design back-end services and author engineering design documents.
Raise the bar for Operational Excellence.
Independently lead projects.
Navigate the complexity of distributed systems and operate them in production.
Break design documents into actionable epics and stories with estimates.
Run experiments to optimize user experience and increase adoption of DOKS.
Contribute to and maintain open-source projects.
Collaborate with the developer community through customer meetings, blogs, and podcasts.
Identify and integrate emerging tools, trends, and methodologies.
Regularly interact with important customers to understand their needs.
Contribute to discussions on architecture, implementation, design patterns, and processes.
Work on teams that operate across multiple time zones.
