Base Salary
$122k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and ship backend services and APIs for core platform functionality.
- Own the full lifecycle of your work from scoping to deployment and iteration.
- Contribute to and improve core platform systems related to data pipelines and service reliability.
- Implement and support A/B tests and experiments.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve production incidents and complex bugs.
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable production code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to deliver measurable solutions.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong backend engineering experience, including service design and API development.
- Experience building and maintaining production systems at scale.
- Proficiency in Python with a solid understanding of backend fundamentals.
- Strong execution skills and ability to deliver scoped work independently.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn complex systems.
- A product-minded approach to technical decisions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
