Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, documented Java code and follow development, coding, and architectural standards.
- Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
- Contribute to eCommerce features and integrations with external systems under guidance.
- Collaborate on technical implementation and assist other developers with implementation and development.
- Write unit tests, address product quality issues, and deliver tasks to agreed standards.
- Troubleshoot complex or escalated incidents and propose innovative technical solutions.
- Mentor less experienced team members, communicate ideas, and contribute to technology discussions.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications.
- Graduation is required.
- Strong development skills in Java 11 or above and hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, and logical/analytical skills.
- Experience with logging frameworks such as SLF4J, Logback, or Log4j.
- Experience writing JUnit test cases using Mockito or PowerMock.
- Understanding of SOLID, DRY, exception handling, serialization/deserialization, immutability, Java collections, generics, annotations, multithreading, and Java memory management.
- Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases and writing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, SonarQube, code management tools, and caching concepts.
- Good communication, collaboration, learning, mentoring, and troubleshooting abilities.
