Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, documented Java code and follow development, coding, and architectural standards.
- Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
- Contribute to eCommerce features and integrations with external systems under guidance.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams on technical implementation and software development lifecycle activities.
- Write unit tests and address product quality issues using relevant testing and code quality tools.
- Troubleshoot complex or escalated incidents and provide solutions.
- Learn new technologies, explore tools, and contribute ideas during technical discussions.
- Communicate ideas effectively and mentor less experienced team members.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications.
- Graduation is required.
- Strong development skills in Java 11 or above and hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, problem-solving, and basic design principles such as SOLID and DRY.
- Experience with logging frameworks such as SLF4J, Logback, or Log4j.
- Experience writing JUnit test cases using Mockito or PowerMock.
- Understanding of exception handling, serialization/deserialization, immutability, Java collections and generics, multithreading, Java Memory Management, and garbage collection concepts.
- Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases and writing SQL queries.
- Experience creating and consuming RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, SonarQube, and code management tools.
- Awareness of caching concepts, with hands-on caching experience considered a plus.
- Strong communication, analytical, debugging, learning, and collaboration skills.
