Responsibilities
- Design, code, debug, unit test, and document large and complex software applications.
- Implement backend solutions and assist developers and consultants with technical implementation and development.
- Make architectural and design decisions focused on scalability and maintainability.
- Develop technical aspects of eCommerce stores, including commerce, content, and integrations with external systems.
- Own complex and ambiguous technical problems and drive end-to-end solutions.
- Mentor junior team members through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to technical planning.
- Identify technical risks, recommend codebase and process improvements, and research emerging technologies.
- Troubleshoot complex and escalated incidents and deliver work according to development and architectural standards.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience is required.
- Graduation-level education is required.
- Strong development skills in Java and hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, design principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with logging frameworks such as SLF4J, Logback, or Log4j.
- Experience writing JUnit test cases using Mockito or PowerMock.
- Understanding of exception handling, serialization and deserialization, immutability, collections, annotations, generics, multithreading, concurrency, and Java memory management.
- Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases and writing SQL queries.
- Experience creating and consuming RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, code quality tools such as SonarQube, code management tools, and caching mechanisms.
- Strong communication, analytical, ownership, troubleshooting, and technical mentoring skills.
