Responsibilities
- Design, code, debug, unit test, and document large and complex software applications.
- Develop scalable backend systems, RESTful web services, GraphQL services, and integrations with external systems.
- Develop and maintain the technical aspects of eCommerce stores across commerce and content.
- Collaborate on technical implementation with developers, consultants, DevOps engineers, product managers, and solution design teams.
- Troubleshoot complex and escalated incidents and deliver work according to agreed standards.
- Mentor less experienced team members and communicate technical ideas effectively.
- Monitor emerging software engineering technologies, research new approaches, and recommend or implement improvements.
- Maintain technical knowledge and uphold development standards, architectural guidelines, and product quality.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience is required.
- Graduation is required.
- Strong hands-on development skills in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
- Experience with package managers such as npm and yarn.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming, data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, logical and analytical skills, and design patterns.
- Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases and writing SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience creating and consuming web services and strong understanding or experience with GraphQL.
- Experience with backend frameworks such as Express, Fastify, and NestJS.
- Experience writing unit tests such as Jest tests.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on experience with SonarQube, logging frameworks, code management tools, and caching mechanisms.
- Ability to mentor less experienced team members and adapt to changing technologies.
