Responsibilities
- Design, code, debug, unit test, and document complex Java software applications.
- Develop backend and eCommerce solutions, including integrations with external systems.
- Make architectural and design decisions that support scalability and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot complex or escalated incidents and proactively address technical risks.
- Collaborate with developers, consultants, and cross-functional teams on implementation and technical planning.
- Mentor junior team members through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Monitor emerging technologies, research new ideas, and recommend improvements across the codebase and processes.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant software development experience.
- Graduation is required.
- Strong development skills in Java 11 or above and hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, design principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with logging frameworks such as SLF4J, Logback, or Log4j.
- Experience writing JUnit tests using Mockito or PowerMock.
- Understanding of exception handling, serialization and deserialization, immutability, Java collections, generics, annotations, and concurrency.
- Experience with multithreading, concurrent APIs, Java memory management, and garbage collection concepts.
- Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases and SQL queries.
- Experience creating and consuming RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud technologies.
- Experience using SonarQube, code management tools, and caching mechanisms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
