Responsibilities
- Code, debug, unit test, and document large and complex software applications.
- Develop technical aspects of eCommerce stores, including commerce, content, and integrations with external systems.
- Collaborate on technical implementation and assist developers and consultants with implementation and development.
- Create and consume RESTful web services and work with databases, SQL queries, and caching mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot complex or escalated incidents and provide innovative technical solutions.
- Follow development standards and architectural guidelines established by the Solution Design team.
- Maintain current technical knowledge, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend or validate new approaches.
- Communicate technical ideas and mentor less experienced team members.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience is required; the summary also specifies 1.5–3 years of hands-on Java/Spring development experience.
- Graduation is required.
- Strong development skills in Java 11 or above and hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, design principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with logging frameworks such as SLF4J, Logback, or Log4j.
- Experience writing JUnit test cases using Mockito or PowerMock.
- Knowledge of exception handling, serialization and deserialization, immutability, Java collections, annotations, generics, autoboxing, multithreading, concurrency, and Java memory management.
- Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases and SQL queries.
- Experience creating and consuming RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, code quality tools such as SonarQube, code management tools, and caching mechanisms.
- Strong problem-solving, logical and analytical skills, communication skills, productivity, and attention to product quality.
