Responsibilities
- Design, code, debug, unit test, document, and maintain large and complex software applications.
- Collaborate with developers, consultants, and cross-functional teams on technical implementation and planning.
- Make architectural and design decisions focused on scalability and maintainability.
- Develop eCommerce stores and integrations with external systems.
- Mentor junior team members through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Identify technical risks and propose improvements across the codebase and development processes.
- Troubleshoot complex and escalated incidents.
- Monitor emerging software-engineering technologies and research or recommend new approaches.
- Deliver work according to agreed standards and follow architectural guidelines.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications.
- Graduation is required.
- Strong Java 11 or above development skills and knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Experience with logging frameworks such as SLF4J, Logback, or Log4j.
- Experience writing JUnit tests using Mockito or PowerMock.
- Knowledge of exception handling, serialization/deserialization, immutability, collections, generics, annotations, multithreading, concurrency, and Java memory management.
- Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases and SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience creating and consuming RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, code management tools, caching mechanisms, and SonarQube.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and technical collaboration skills.
