Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, unit test, document, and maintain large Java software applications.
- Build technical aspects of eCommerce stores, including commerce, content, and integrations with external systems.
- Collaborate on technical implementation and support other developers and consultants.
- Troubleshoot complex or escalated incidents and deliver work to agreed standards.
- Follow development standards and architectural guidelines established by the Solution Design team.
- Monitor emerging technologies, evaluate new ideas, and recommend improvements.
- Maintain technical knowledge and mentor less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Graduation is required.
- The posting requires 2–3 years of experience, while the job summary specifies 1.5–3 years of hands-on experience.
- Strong development skills in Java 11 or above and hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot are required.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, design principles, design patterns, exception handling, serialization/deserialization, immutability, collections, generics, multithreading, concurrency, and Java memory management is required.
- Experience with SLF4J, Logback, or Log4j and writing JUnit tests using Mockito or PowerMock is required.
- Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases, SQL queries, web services, caching mechanisms, SonarQube, and code management tools is required.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud technologies is expected.
- Agile project management is listed as a good-to-have skill.
