Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications, APIs, content management systems, and cloud integrations.
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data science infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain AWS cloud technologies.
- Participate in technical planning, requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Review and redesign existing applications and establish engineering best practices for processes and tools.
- Collaborate with teams across NOV to deliver solutions and evolve products.
- Mentor junior staff by providing guidance, direction, and feedback.
- Comply with NOV company and HSE policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, or a combination of education and related experience.
- At least 5 years of industry experience with .NET and C#, with C# preferred.
- At least 3 years of front-end development experience with CSS, JavaScript, and HTML5.
- Experience with Angular is a plus.
- Proficiency with SQL, MongoDB, OSI PI, DocumentDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of containers, build systems, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
- AWS services experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, handle new challenges, communicate effectively, and take high-level ownership of application quality and stability.
