Responsibilities
- Design, code, debug, unit test, and document large, complex software applications.
- Collaborate on technical implementation and support developers and consultants with implementation and development work.
- Own complex and ambiguous technical problems and drive scalable, maintainable end-to-end solutions.
- Make architectural and design decisions while adhering to development standards and architectural guidelines.
- Develop technical aspects of eCommerce stores, content, commerce functionality, and integrations with external systems.
- Mentor junior team members through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Identify technical risks, recommend improvements, and research emerging software engineering technologies.
- Troubleshoot complex or escalated incidents and deliver work according to agreed standards.
Requirements
- 3.5–5 years of hands-on experience in Java and backend application development.
- Graduation is required.
- Strong development skills in Java 11 or above, including object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, concurrency, memory management, and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Experience with logging frameworks such as SLF4J, Logback, or Log4j.
- Experience writing JUnit test cases using Mockito or PowerMock.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases and writing SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience creating and consuming RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, SonarQube, code management tools, and caching mechanisms.
- Strong problem-solving, logical and analytical skills, and understanding of software design principles.
