Base Salary
$150k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement orchestration for multi-step agentic workflows across clinic operations and internal processes.
- Integrate external tools and APIs into agent systems with reliable tool calling and robust error handling.
- Build retrieval and evaluation infrastructure to improve agent reliability and accuracy.
- Identify manual workflows and deliver end-to-end automation systems.
- Monitor production agent performance and iterate on system design based on real-world behavior.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience building agent or LLM systems through personal projects, research, open-source contributions, or professional work.
- Experience designing agent orchestration systems or multi-step agentic workflows.
- Experience integrating tools, APIs, or external services into agent pipelines.
- Experience building or working with retrieval-augmented generation systems.
- Experience designing evaluation frameworks or monitoring systems for agent reliability.
- Strong computer science and mathematics fundamentals demonstrated through academic performance, competition experience, or fast self-directed learning.
- Comfort working in TypeScript.
- Experience with early-stage startups, healthcare or regulated industries, prompt engineering, or open-source AI research is a bonus but not required.
- Familiarity with Vercel and agent orchestration frameworks is a plus.
Benefits
- Base salary of $150,000 to $220,000 annually plus meaningful founding-team equity.
- On-site work five days per week in San Francisco, California.
