Base Salary

$250k - $290k/yr

Responsibilities

Lead the technical architecture and design of high-performance brokerage systems.
Assess the health and performance of software applications and databases.
Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
Collaborate with Broker Dealer Operations teams to enhance trading systems.
Define specifications and develop software components.
Analyze service and application performance using various tools.
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.
Guide non-technical staff in using software and hardware systems effectively.
Support applications with system integration and troubleshooting.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of experience in Software Engineering with expertise in Java.
Understanding of Test Driven Development and effective unit/integration testing.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing frameworks.
Proficient in developing robust REST APIs and event-driven architectures.
Background in financial technology or capital markets is required.
Proficient in No SQL, SQL, and Stored Procedures like Postgres and MySQL.
Experience with Unix and Linux Operating Systems.
Familiarity with Jira, Git, and Jenkins.
Experience with a 24x7, highly-available architecture.
Strong experience with Amazon Web Services.
Experience with Scrum and Agile processes.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
