Base Salary
$240k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the architectural vision for customer-facing systems in alignment with business strategy.
- Lead cross-organization initiatives involving scale, system boundaries, foundational capabilities, and long-term technical strategy.
- Establish design patterns and frameworks for quality, resilience, and operational excellence.
- Serve as an authority on architectural decisions and drive alignment across engineering, product, and other functions.
- Drive organization-wide adoption of scalable practices, tools, and development norms.
- Mentor senior technical leaders and strengthen engineering rigor, talent development, and continuous learning.
- Remove organizational blockers, clarify ambiguous ownership, and accelerate strategic initiatives.
- Translate customer and clinical needs into scalable, reliable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Drive improvements in developer experience, team velocity, observability, migrations, reliability, and system sustainability.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong record of group-level technical leadership.
- Experience with Kotlin, Java, or Go and deep understanding of system design for scale and performance.
- Experience introducing and scaling shared infrastructure, frameworks, or libraries across multiple teams.
- Proficiency with CircleCI, GitHub, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools such as Datadog.
- Demonstrated ability to drive architectural clarity and strategic technical alignment across functions.
- Experience translating customer and clinical needs into reliable, maintainable, high-impact technical solutions.
- Track record of improving developer experience, team velocity, and system sustainability.
- Ability to lead through ambiguity, balance short-term delivery with long-term scalability, and mentor senior engineering talent.
