Base Salary
$215k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and technical teams building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams, including standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks with architects.
- Refactor systems, reduce technical debt, and improve performance in distributed environments.
- Mentor engineers and influence long-term technology strategy through evaluation of tools and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred: 7+ years coding with more than two listed programming languages, plus experience with databases, cloud platforms, open source frameworks, front-end frameworks, APIs, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred: experience with AI-based coding tools, interactive AI tooling, observability, mentoring, cross-functional engineering leadership, and enforcing coding standards and design patterns.
