Base Salary
$150k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the agent layer end to end, including context, self-learning, evaluations, harnesses, and meta-harnesses.
- Define patterns for building, measuring, and evolving agents across the platform.
- Design autonomous failure detection, diagnosis, and self-healing production workflows.
- Collaborate with leadership on hiring and growing the team responsible for agentic systems.
- Work as a hands-on individual contributor and peer to the founders while driving experimentation and iteration.
Requirements
- 2 to 9 years of relevant software engineering experience with strong computer science fundamentals.
- Experience building context or self-learning systems that improve agent performance from accumulated knowledge.
- Experience designing autonomous failure detection, diagnosis, or self-healing production workflows.
- Built agentic software within the last year with a focus on implementation engineering and shipping working systems.
- Background in harness-centric agent building, context engineering, and evaluation-driven iteration.
- Deep understanding of agent tracing and evaluations.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to operate in a fast-moving, hands-on individual contributor role.
