Responsibilities
- Write blog posts, tutorials, and analyses that resonate with engineers.
- Build relationships in 3-5 engineering communities.
- Engage with timely industry topics with substantive insights.
- Coordinate with Marketing to align content timing authentically.
- Contribute to CircleCI's AI team on production features.
- Be the first user of new AI-powered capabilities.
- Make independent editorial decisions aligned with team goals.
- Represent CircleCI in public forums with good judgment.
- Identify and act on opportunities proactively.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience shipping production software.
- Depth in testing, CI/CD, deployment, or reliability engineering.
- Regularly write code for work, open source, or personal projects.
- Ability to make complex topics clear and useful in writing.
- Demonstrated authentic engagement with an online audience.
- Capability to write independently without extensive editing.
- Trust and recognition in DevOps, testing, CI, or AI communities.
