Base Salary
$80k - $294k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI models and solutions using ethical and responsible practices.
- Detect, evaluate, document, and mitigate responsible AI risks including bias, fairness, robustness, explainability, transparency, soundness, and privacy.
- Optimize and maintain AI systems for performance and adherence to ethical standards.
- Participate in the full AI development lifecycle, including data preparation, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Support client sales conversations and proposal preparation.
- Develop internal responsible AI guidelines, best practices, and technical training.
- Identify and correct biases in datasets and AI models.
- Document AI development processes, decisions, and methodologies.
- Stay current with AI trends, ethical considerations, and technological developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience; an associate's degree requires at least six years of work experience.
- At least six years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions.
- Experience with at least two areas including statistics and probability theory, regression modeling, clustering, deep learning, neural networks, natural language processing, text mining, computer vision, image recognition, time-series forecasting, machine learning visualization tools, or tree ensembles.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Java and familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with big data technologies and tools such as Hadoop or Spark, database management, and data processing.
- Working knowledge of cloud services and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for AI.
- At least one year of experience addressing responsible AI dimensions such as fairness, transparency, explainability, robustness, soundness, and privacy.
- Strong data preprocessing, analysis, problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Preferred qualifications include responsible AI or technology ethics training, AI/ML/data science certifications, experience with ethical AI or AI for social good, knowledge of data privacy and regulatory frameworks, experience with model interpretability and explainability tools, D3.js or ggplot, project management experience, and proficiency in an additional language.
